freelance photojournalism

Attending as busy of a university as UW-Madison was, the opportunity to photograph events was never lacking. I was lucky to get to gain experience in photojournalism working as a photographer for The Daily Cardinal, one of the college’s student-run newspapers, as well as a freelance photographer for the UW-Madison College of Letters and Science & The UW-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I was given the chance to experience sideline photography for Badger Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Volleyball as well as a variety of campus or city-wide events and protests.
